Accessibility
Everyone should be able to browse the menu, check allergens and order. This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA.
What this site does
- Works with a keyboard alone, including the basket drawer, which traps focus while open, closes with Escape and returns you to where you were.
- Shows a clear focus outline on every link, button and form field, and has a “Skip to content” link.
- Uses real headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can jump around the page.
- Keeps text contrast at 4.5:1 or more (black text on the pinks and yellows).
- Stops the moving parts (scrolling banners, spinning cookies, card animations, confetti) if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Gives meaningful photos a text description and hides purely decorative illustrations from screen readers.
- Lists every allergen in text and in a table with proper row and column headers, never only as an icon or colour.
- Labels every form field, explains errors in words next to the field, and moves focus to the first problem.
- Reflows down to 320px wide and stays usable at 400% zoom.
Known limitations
This is a design mockup. It has been checked with automated tools and by keyboard, but not yet tested with screen reader users. Photos are placeholders.
