We want everyone to be able to browse the menu, check allergens and send an order request. This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast against their backgrounds.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Photographs have text descriptions; decorative ornaments are hidden from assistive technology.
- Allergens are written out in words on the bill of fare and on every flavour's page, not shown by colour or symbol alone.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the swaying awning, ribbons and reveal effects are switched off.
- The layout reflows to narrow screens and up to 400% zoom without sideways scrolling, apart from the allergen table, which scrolls within its own panel.
- Form errors are described in text next to the field they belong to.
Known limitations
The photographs are placeholders and will be replaced with photos of our own cookies, each with its own description.
